New SMT equipment in place

​PsiControl has recently upgraded its SMT capability with a new Fuji's all-in-one AIMEX II machine. This placement platform provides higher levels of flexibility, greater placement accuracy and rates than ever before. It has handling capability for large form factor boards and has up to 130 feeder inputs per cell, which coupled with the smart feeder cart technology makes for fast changeovers in a high-mix, low-volume environment. This investments follows earlier investments in 2015 including a new screen printer DEK Horizon 03iX and a Koh Young Zenith machine, an AOI system that inspects components and soldering based on 3D technology. Continued investments in process capability and capacity ensure PsiControl can meet market driven advanced technology requirements and support continued growth.
