Sales hunter (Industrial Customers)

Psicontrol is part of Picanol Group, a business unit of Tessenderlo Group (Euronext: TESB).
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Sales Hunter to join our team. In this role, your mission will involve pursuing new business opportunities for custom-made controllers and drives within Psicontrol’s key focus markets. Your goal will be to identify and close deals with potential customers, expand our customer base, and drive revenue growth.
This position has opened up due to an upcoming retirement.
Job description
- Prospecting and lead generation:
- Identify and research potential customers in the key focus markets of Psicontrol.
- Utilize cold calling techniques, networking, and industry events to generate leads.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Customer engagement and relationship building:
- Engage with decision-makers at target companies.
- Understand customers’ needs, pain points, and their business challenges.
- Present Psicontrol’s high-tech solutions in an effective manner.
- Negotiation and deal closure:
- Develop customized proposals and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing.
- Close deals efficiently in order to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Market insights and strategy:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Adapt sales strategies based on changing market conditions.
- Reporting and metrics:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and conversions.
- Provide regular reports to sales management.
Profile
- Proven track record as a successful sales professional (you should have a sales hunter profile).
- Experience in selling high-tech solutions, electronic components, or relevant industrial products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French and/or German is considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Europe.
